In The Field: ST350 Captures African Rainforest

Composer and Professor David Monacchi used the ST350 for recording in the Central African Dzanga-Sangha rainforest as part of an international project "Fragments of Extinction - Portraits of Acoustic Biodiversity from World's Primary Equatorial Rainforests."

In the 2008 field recording research trip, several sound environments were sampled in the 3D format generated by the SoundField system, providing an extraordinary profile of that complex ecosystem.
