B-Format Audio
Listed below is a variety of sound effects and recorded music captured using
a SoundField microphone system. This material is intended for demonstration use only.
The B-Format material is stored in four mono wav files (labelled W, X, Y, Z)
and are sampled at 24-bit, 48 kHz. Wav files can be played back on most multi-channel
DAWs and can easily be inserted into a Pro Tools, SADiE or Nuendo project using the Surround
Zone plug-in. For Nuendo users we have created a small PC application which
merges the four B-Format wav files into a quadro wave file. This application
can be downloaded here.
